ABOUT ME

Passionate with the craft of metalsmithing, I am most in my element behind the bench whilst creating a new piece from scratch. Turning grains of silver or gold into a little wearable sculpture through melting, wax carving, soldering and forging is my favorite thing to do!

As a jewelry designer I love creating pure, subtle, and delicate pieces. On the contrary rough materials and rustic, brutal designs are also a significant part of my work!
I believe there is a fine line between wearable and unwearable objects. While creating, I often find myself balancing alongside this line.

Inspiration for me mostly comes while working in the studio. It usually combines nature elements, travel, design and architecture influences but also the intricate structures and forms of surrounding objects.
Translating all this in relationship to the body and the wearer to create a wearable piece of art is what I love most.

For me the beauty of an object is magnified by its wearer, and I love being part of that process.

I see my creations as guiding objects or talismans, accompanying you through the blissful and happy times in your life, and serving as a constant reminder of those, during the more challenging moments.
